Zooka, Thats what I've been trying to tell my man, I find it damn near impossible for Cotto's blood to be on the inside of the glove let along the inside of your gauze! I agree, it had to have come from when his knuckles were rubbing against those pads.
I know you have been trying to get him to understand that theory, but I think some how he thinks its Cottos blood I just dont see how that is possible. it had to come from the hands rubbing on something perhaps those pads.
Acutally nothing was found in the gloves, the only thing they found were two stiff and firm pads in the gauze, the results havent come back from the lab yet to find out what it was.
Tony will serve his punishment and I don't think he'll ever be the same fighter...1 year off will only hurt him..He's not old or anything but he definitley is the type of fighter that needs to be active...HE'S BEEN GIVEN A FAIR CHANCE AT HIS SIDE OF THE STORY AND HE LOST..PERIOD!!!
I disagree, I think the year off will help him, though I agree that he is the kind of fighter that needs to stay active, he has been lately too active and has taken some serious punishment from the divisons best over the last two years. The year off will help him in terms of his health.
He might not even get reinstated after the year. Who wants him in boxing anyway to be honest. Guy's a cheater and got caught red handed. No pun intended.
