Who's on the other side of the spectrum? As far as clean punching is concerned Cotto is TEXT book and is almost as untelegraphed as a fighter can be with his punch rate. I honestly see Margarito having a hard time to adjust to Cotto at first.

The other man on the spectrum is one who has been badly hurt several times during his career, and against fighters who don't punch as hard and as consistantly as Antonio Margarito.

Damn. I just posted and the computer froze.

    Good analysis.:good

Being a Shane Mosley supporter, it does pain me to admit he doesn't want to fight Margarito. But how many big names want to, considering the threat of losing to a guy who, for some reason (maybe Arum?) hasn't caught on with mainstream fans.

As for your explanation of Williams-Margo, I agree. He looked somewhat stale, not throwing in combination. I don't think he came in with the right gameplan, and I was pulling for him at the end. He came close, but did lose the decision.

Cotto-Margarito will bring out the best in both combatants.

Futhermore, Quintana-Williams II is coming in the summer. That should be a good one, too. I like Quintana, saving his career with that performance against Williams.

I'm talking about offensive technical punching. I'm not analyzing them completely. Technically Cintron is very very very flawed offensively. The difference between Cintron and Cotto is absurd. Cotto is a 100x better puncher than Cintron ever was, punching hard is pretty much over rated, being a sharp accurate puncher is whats really dangerous. Cotto is a great great puncher.

Of course Cotto is more accurate than Cintron, but 100x better???

Come on, some of you clowns overreact bigtime to Cintrons only losses. Cintron destroyed some pretty tough fighters before being destroyed by a better fighter.

    :good

Who is a bad style match up to Margo. No other Welterweight would eat the Bomb ass right hands Margo ate and keep appling such pressure. Especially not Cotto.

I feel bad for the **** Cintron gets. The man is probably one of the only fighters that is brave enough to get into the ring with Margarito, not once, but twice, and still he gets **** on. I hope Cintron has one more run at a title, there's a lot of people that would be backed off by Cintron's right hands, just not Margarito.

Cintron is a bad style for Margo? Or do you mean Margo is a bad style for Cintron? :huh I'm not giving Cintron **** but I'm not sugar coating it either, the guy is flawed BIG TIME, he is a heavypuncher with poor technique and he is even WAY slower than Margarito.

And yes Cotto is hundred times the better puncher than Cintron is haha its not even close.

Margarito wont throw 1000 punches vs Cotto. Cotto's footmovement will cut Margarito's activity in half. I cannot see Margarito winning with throwing only 500 punches. Cotto UD or Cotto late round TKO.

Margo knows how to cut off the ring on the little guy and Cotto is not willie pep in the foot movement department.

more power but lacks the speed, timing, accuracy, boxing ability, jab, physical strength and toughness cotto brings.

    close fight.

i'll give the edge to cotto based on his jab and movement offsetting margarito's volume

what the **** are you blind or just stupid?!!?!?!? omfg

CIntron is INCREDIBLY slow on the inside, and he is AVERAGE from distance give me a ****ing break, he can't move 2 shits close range.

Compare that to Cotto who is one of the best short compact inside punchers in boxing today. Get the **** out of here

I try to see things from your perspective but I can't get my head that far up your ass
