Margarito too big, too strong, and too relentless. Tszyu was pummeled by Cool Vince. He might be able to keep Margarito off for a little, but I think he'd tire and start to take too much punishment.
I would be the biggest Margarito detractor b/c I think he is a big dude fighting small but come on get real.
Tszyu had worlds more talent being on the level of PBF, ODLH, & Whitaker but he abandoned too much of his boxing once he turned pro and fell in love with his power at the expense of his boxing. He was a masterful boxer in the amateurs schooling great tall boxers like Forrest with ease while compiling one of the best records. Even at his advanced age there was no way he should have lost to a crude fighter like Hatton with the right game plan. Unfortunately against pressure fighters his pride seemed to drag him into brawling and slugging instead of boxing and counterpunching which ultimately led to his demise twice in his career. Margarito is the quintessential pressure brawler so unless Tszyu flicks his jab while running around the ring and potshotting he would get brutalized before being stopped.
Margarito TKO12 Tszyu Marg would be too big for Tszyu, if Hatton can beat a faded but still decent Tszyu then Marg can do likewise to a prime version as he is more powerfull & applies at least as much pressure throughout.
I'll be in the minority here who picks Tszyu by decision, 8 rounds to 4. He is ten times sharper than Margarito, with enough power to make Margarito respect him. I also believe that Tszyu is more durable than Cotto- I absolutely hate that everyone always picks Tszyu to be stopped late or quit in any mythical matchup, based solely on what happened in the Hatton fight.
That's the popular pick, and frankly, it's a respectable one. Margarito is an animal in there, and he'd bring all kinds of pressure and body work that would trouble Tszyu. But KT was NOT in his prime when he fought "Cool" Vince. He became a much better fighter afterwards.
tyzu would hurt margarito, not sure if he stops him, but he beats mararito, hatton fight gives tyzu a bad imagine, people don;t relise he was fighting the ref an hatton,,,,it was complet bull ****, isay same hatton same place same time diffrent ref, kosta beats hatton.....
