Yep. If it had been done honestly, I would respect Margarito for beating Cotto in such a way. Knowing now that he did it with the use of loaded gloves... well, you can certainly forgive Cotto for being stopped, even by a slow plodder like Margarito.
First of all, who gives a good **** if he fights again? Mosely wiped the ring floor with him, so he is truly yesterdays news. Secondly, his hands were in fact doctored, with what exactly? I don`t know. However, loading gloves is the most serious attempt to alter,influence and injure an opponent in boxing. Bottom line is he was caught trying to fight with loaded gloves. He does not deserve to fight, period... I am referencing Billy Collins Jr. here, look at what happened. And people try to say that Margarito didn`t know??? Please...
well his chin will be tested in this fight cuz Roberto Garcia can bang. just watched some of his fights on youtube, looks like a strong, hard puncher.
yeah fair points tbh. he's served punishment for what happened. iron mike only got a year for biting a chunk out of holyfield's ear. no criminal prosecutions have come out of it. give him his 2nd chance. :deal
he's yesterdays news just cos he lost to an exceptional fighter. atsch what's the beef round here. margarito has always been a very good slugger who had his limitations. paul williams also showed up some of those limitations. another very good fighter. :roll:
