if your referencing the time mosley was offered a november fight against margo he was offered it in early september,i dont think anyone can accuse mosley of being a ducker.

 

Shane has always been in shape, if he got the offer in september he would have the rest of sept all of October and a good part of Nov to prepair that is plenty of time for a guy who is always in shape.

 

i saw an interview where he said 'to fight a guy like margarito u need more time to prepare',i suppose it was risk vs reward.
