Some warrior he was wasnt he? i thought he won 2 of the 3 rounds completed but one tough hombre. Really good boxer offensivly but is a bit chiny but has so much determination he really surprised Purdy and what a rematch it will be. I will always remember this guy in the corner in front of the judgetrying to pop his shouldr back into place then when the fight was stopped all of a sudden feeling the pain. I cant beleive how tough taht guy is
Purdy isn't going anywhere anyway. No skills, doesn't even attempt to work the jab, he just keeps coming forward and throws a telegraphed right hand and left hook, and when they occasionally catch and he might hurt an opponent, he shows no composure at all and does the same thing only with more intensity but more wildly. Douglas didn't do much else but throw simple left-right combinations.
I will show Mark this, might cheer him up a bit as he is in a lot of pain and has four months minimum rehab in front of him.:good
He is a right twat. I was watching the show last night and **** me, going on about Barker like he was a world beater and really didn't want to give Butler any credit, considering he took the fight on short notice and showed some balls. Fair play to Douglas, still wanted to fight with his arm as it was. Brave guy.
I hope Douglas gets rematch he deserves. Purdy i think don't fancy another war with him. He knew he was in trouble. Douglas if he recovers well and gets back fully fit he can lift that title.
Right after he said Dan684 is a fanny and sucks Jock hairy cocks:yep:good Sorry bud couldnt resist, paint a target, gotta hit it
My in-laws were talking about this yesterday Douglas is a warrior. Saw him at York Hall a while back and brought a noisy following too. We had a women dislocate her knee at work and was screaming in agony for ages. It sounded like she was either having an orgasm or dying so I didn't go to provide assistance.
