mark hunt

    i was watching the 'best of pride' last night and mark hunt was on it. i'd not heard of him before, but as he is from my part of the world i'd like to know more about him.

    how is he regarded as a fighter? is he a bit like tank abbott, meaning a bit of a knockout artist? actually the fight which i saw he did display more skill than abbott.

    Mark won the 2001 k1 World Grand prix final, has MMA wins over Wanderlei Silva and Cro Cop, put up a good fight against Fedor too. Hunt was on a 6 fight losing streak until recently when he knocked out Chris Tuchscherer at UFC 127.

    **** skills in both stand-up and on the ground. But he has a concrete head and punch power.

    Terrific chin when he was younger.

    Like all the Pacific islanders was a bit lazy and didn't evolve as a fighter.

    Relied a lot on his power and intimidation.
