Dont pay no mind to the haters..Billy is a great trainer and of course he is gonna back his fighter 100%...have seen Allens name pop up in this thread and i would love to see that fight but doubt it will happen...like you said i think he is going to find trouble being matched now.
Billy is talking cobblers in my opinion. That took how many days/weeks to come up with all that rubbish, just be honest, he had a bad night but will be back. It happens.. The excuses are embarrassing.
It's down right disrespectful to say Martin needs a new trainer. However, Martin does need a lot of work Billy.
He needs a heart transplant in my opinion - you need a big heart, desire and a relentless will to continue when the going gets tough in the ring. After Billy watching Ricky Burns go through all those rounds in agony with a broken jaw against Beltran, no wonder he is raging at watching such a big man with a very small heart.
He needs to go and see the wizard with the tin man but unfortunately I think Dom Ingle has got Dorothy in his basement so nobody knows the way.
Can you train a fighter to have a heart and the killer instinct? Bakole lost that fight mainly because he mentally gave up in there from around round 5 onwards. I dont think you can train heart and determination. Even a master psychologist would have their work cut out.
Some trainers can get the best out of their fighters and some cannot. His head went after five rounds in a standard fight against a cruiserweight so why in a big fight (if he gets there) would the same trainer manage to get him up for it. He should see if a new trainer can help him and if they can't then maybe he should knock it on the head.
