Abraham's fired the fight off the other day, with a potential eliminator for a title elsewhere. Seems like a lack of respect towards Murray IMO.

Surely he should consider moving back down in weight now as he carried much more threat. He didn't have enough to trouble Abraham's or Groves at this weight and there's clearly no real incentive for others to fight him either as you can't get him out of there.

Where does he go from here?

Like you said he's proven that he is not as effective at SMW. His main advantages at the 160 limit were size and strength as well as dogged determination. He was never going to beat Groves since Groves is better and bigger. Abraham is a small 168 but even he clearly beat Murray. He should go back to 160 and chase BJS belt. I think Saunders would beat him on points but it's his best chance of a belt.

Murray v Eubank would do good numbers as a co-feature on a PPV card but I think Eubank would destroy him tbh.

I'm yet to see how good Eubank really is. He looks the part but yet to see him against a real quality opponent other than falling short against BJS.

Stylistically, Murray v Eubank would be a brilliant fight.

Eubank is tailor made for Murray.

Even at this stage of his career i'd pick Murray over Eubank, but at his age i don't see Murray being able to dry back down to 160.

The Eubank fight is decent if Senior can make up with Hearn.

Yeah tailor made, he's bigger and stronger than Murray, with a better chin and skills and is 10x the athlete

Murray's turtle defense and ability to throw 10 punches per round from this defense will cause Eubank real problems

Personally I think that Murray might be tailor made for CEJ actually

You also said that you think Gabe Rosado would beat Eubank Jr.

How on earth is Eubank tailor made for Murray? What advantages would Murray have exactly? He doesn't even punch hard.

Eubank is tailor made for technical, elusive boxers with a strong jab - something which Murray isn't known for.

Eubank vs Murray would be a beat down similar to Blackwell and O'Sullivan. 12 round battering most likely because of Murray's strong chin. Eubank would gladly go to war and just outdo him with his far superior speed, skills and all round ability. Uppercut galore.

    Eubank would brutalise him

I've said a hundred times before, what is the barometer for measuring Eubanks ability/level ?

Saunders, who boxed his head off without breaking a sweat, until he did his usual 7 rounds, and then cruise. Andy Lee gave Saunders more of a fight than Eubank ffs ?

Blackwell, who with all due respect is British level ?

Spike, who has nothing except a decent dig. The same Spike who Saunders out boxed and beat up, and even hung his chin out and invited Spike to have a fight ? The same Spike who before he acted out his part in the pre planned outcome got Eubanks attention every time he landed ?

Murray has been in with World level boxers, and given a very good account of himself at the highest level ( Golovkin being the exception ).

The only thing Eubank has on Murray is age

And speed, handspeed, athleticism and all-round skill. Murray is not a particularly good boxer, like I said most of his advantages at 160 stemmed from his size, punch resistance and determination. Against Eubank that's all matched.

Murray is shot to bits but there's no way Eubank stops him. A huge SMW like Groves went life and death with him a few months back and couldn't get him out of there. Only GGG has ever stopped this man and that was in the 11th round. Murray would be a very good test for CEJ.
