    Is Martin Murray a top contender . Is he better than Spike ,Lemieux or charlo or Demetrius Andrade

    Currently Andrade probably is. He's more talented than Murray, but Murray has at least gotten in the ring with contenders at 160. Definitely got robbed versus Sturm. and lost to guys who were champs or eventual champs.

    He's closing on his career, and could realistically be caught by Spike and DL.

    Andrade's career and potential at this point (And at age 30) is currently UNK/TBD.

    Slightly below Lemieux, possibly on par with Spike.

    Murray vs O'Sullivan should be made.

    One of my favorite fighters. Always comes with his best. Went 11 with GGG. Should have gotten the decision against Martinez and Sturm. Near the end of his career, but still too tough a fight for a lot of the other contenders to get in with.

    Thanks for agreeing n17 and cst. I’ve regularly challenged people peddling this myth that sturm robbed Murray to watch the fight and post a list of the rounds Murray won. No takers. FWIW I scored it 116-112 (8-4) to sturm.

    Murray was a very decent hand 4-5 years ago, but he's past it now.

    Murray was a very good fighter, I also think his fight with GGG might've dented him more than first thought looking back. Hard fight for him...One fighter everyone should have a soft spot for. Great mentality
