Marvin Hagler defensive skills

Well, i wanna know....how you rate him in terms of defense ?

In The Boxing Register they say : " ....an elegant boxer who could adapt his defense to any opponent´s style."
What you guys think about that ??


In my opinion Hagler have a very good solid defense, perhaps not master, but very good.......He could block, slip......
But I wanna know more opinions please....Thanks

 

I think people forget how well he used his legs before fading. Very good judge of distance with his legs, in his defense.

 

Hagler's defense was more than solid, I believe. Even when he was hit, he wasn't always hit cleanly.

 

had one of the greatest parrys in history, great judge of distance and slipping punches from the outside or on inside

Good call on the parries. If you ever look at footage or pics from any of his fights you see him jab with his hand in perfect parry position every time.
