Maskaev-Klitschko!!!!

Yikes Maskaev is shot.

 

the blatant corruption is sad. doesn't the wbc have rules that it should at least gloss over before inserting maskaev? i mean maskaev hasn't beaten anyone with a pulse in several years, and is shot to bits unless there was something was wrong in the peter fight.

Gomez deserves the fight more than Maskaev, though a Maskaev fight in the near future is good for settling an amateur score.

 

Thing is, everyone knows that either Klitschko vs Maskaev in Russia would draw big, big local money and a lot of money men involved have been gagging to do it. They've been trying to do it for a couple years now.

Regardless of whether it'll be a good fight or not (and it won't). There's money to be made! None of them really cares about Maskaev or his credentials, he's just a useful pawn in this.

 

Maskaev hasn't been knocked down since 2002, and they stopped the Peter fight while he was on his feet. He also hurt Peter in their fight. I think Klit will beat him but he is a live contender and the odds will probably be 25 to 1, so maybe I'll bet $50 and pray.

 

this is so ridiculous. maskaev would take a horrific beating...Rappaport must have photos of Sulaiman sucking off a horse or something

Puh-leez. Haye is a KO waiting to happen at HW. Either Klitschko would destroy him a round or two. This is a guy who has trouble taking the punches of old cruisers and supermiddles.

and consider maskaev/rappaport pissed off vitali with all their talk of knocking him out as a kickboxer....vitali would come in with bad intentions and obliterate Oleg.

i would rather see vitali/arreola....man, it would be a replay of the danny williams fight all over again....that was one of the worst ass kickings ever...i doubt arreola has that kind of chin though
