He won so its a robbery in my book, I really dont think it was one of those fights that could go either way, Macklin won by at least 2 on my card.

I completely agree mate, cracking performance, gutted he didn't get it but not exactly surprising given where it was taking place.

Fought his heart out and proved the doubters saying he wasn't cut out for world level wrong.

Sato/Macklin could still be a good fight. Both were robbed somewhat. Lets see who can get back on the horse. I know my moneys on the man from Chiba.

Yeah. I was amazed at his stamina. Thought he deserved a draw, at least one judge had him winning though - that's something for him to feel as if he's the true champ. Would love to see a rematch as we all would.

Don't see a robbery. Macklin surpassed my expectations though and put up an excellent fight.

Very good fight. Macklin deserved a draw imo. Hat's off to Macklin i didn't think he would take Sturm that close.

I had Macklin winning 7-5 or even 8-4.

REEVO, Sturm didn't really show an amazing jab did he. Be honest now. This is his level, around about the Matthew Macklin's of this world.

Hell Darren Barker would probably beat him. sportofkings, where are you matey? Any thoughts?
