But isnt DAZN supposed to be not too happy with Hearn and disappointed with Matchroom? That's the narrative some want to push. They seem to be going all in with Matchroom.
I assume DAZN have decided an an Italian roll out probably because they are in advanced negotiations for Serie A or something similar. They have probably prompted Eddie to push boxing over there to give the punters more to shout about.
Eddie should spend more time at home with his family tbh..better that than spreading his stable even thinner and reducing the quality of his shows. Just look at the dog muck he’s serving up on Saturday.

Matchroom going for quantity rather than quality atm. Bellew Usyk could be good be not many great PPV's or cards this year. Bellew Haye was poor Haye done. Joshua vs Povetkin decent but Parker was a snoozefest. No Joshua vs Wilder or Brook vs Khan. 2 best PPV's that could be made despite both Brook & Khan past their best. Whyte is a Heavyweight contender put is Matchroom's 2nd PPV fighter after Joshua.

Fwanky Warden's business idea has already flopped simply because £10 a month with some decent fights soon became £12 a month for a pile of turd.
Haven't seen that narrative pushed myself. Eddie is putting on consistent shows with relevant names and decent action. Don't see how anyone can deny it. I've been a critic of Eddie myself in the past and he's not perfect. But he's flying at the moment. I just hope his desire to impress DAZN continues. That deal has seen him up his game IMO.
There’s nothing wrong with these deals - USA, Italy, Germany, when you’re using local boxers and putting on decent cards. When you’re using an already threadbare British stable then it sucks. Hearn/matchroom need more signings ASAP. Not just superstars but of all levels because it’s thin.
