He's 26 and he can step up the opposition very quickly as he has all the skills in the world, he beat everybody in the amateurs, the only thing he needed to do was learn to adapt to the pro game and i think he's done that, he has a humble attitude ala Pacman so he is going to keep growing as a fighter, Korobov is the truth i'm telling you!

Korobov looked damn good tonight. Lara's already fighting like a guy who's ready to step up. The only guy I was somewhat disappointed in was Jacobs- he's a fine prospect, but I think he's drinking too much of his own kool-aid. We're going to see a replay of Andy Lee- Brian Vera if he doesn't get that in check.
I don't know about "learning a pro style very well" because it was exactly like Korobov used to fight as an amateur. So far his style hasn't changed much if at all.
I've watched dozens of his am fights and all his pro fights and believe me he has made adjustments, to someone who doesn't know him really well or the sport really well might not be able to see, he's gonna look similar of course and that's not a bad thing as he was dominant as an amateur. He looks more settled and patient and he is sitting down on his shots, not as much bouncing on his toes. That is exactly what you want from a pro making the transition from the AMs, he's already got all the skill and the boxing ability.
