On that programme last night remember hearing him say he's fighting for the Commonwealth title.

    Who is his opponent?

    Who's the favourite?

How good is the younger Hatton (I have seen him fight a while back, but can't remember much about him) , how far can he go?

His opponent is Craig Watson - he put Khan on his ass in the amateurs.

Hatton Jnr is nothing special - domestic class, but I expect him to win here, prob by UD.

His not going anywhere. Matthew is nothing more than area level talent at best.

The only reason you've heard of him is because of his brother.

I meant he's an average fighter, who people wouldn't be talking about if it wasn't for his brother.

I think he could be another Colin Lynes - domestic, commonwealth and possibly european.

If he thinks he can win a world title at welterweight he is seriously mistaken!

I wouldn't rule out him moving up to 154 and having decent success there though, bearing in mind how shallow the division is!

Matthew Hatton isn't good enough to do up Colin Lynes shoe laces.

****in hell guys ya can tell he is Ricky Hattons brother coz no other thread about a 'Domestic Class' fighter could provoke so much backlash, Hatton Jnr taking some verbal bombs and its only the first round lol...
God help Audley Harrison if a thread gets started about his Mother

He isnt in Lynes class, in fact despite been smaller Lynes would beat him

Matthew doesnt want to fight the top domestics at welter

Oh and he got a gift last time out

    He's an average domestic-level operator.

However, he just happens to have a famous brother in the same sport, and can ride on the back of that money wagon as long as "bro" maintains his popularity with the Man City fans etc.

Matthew is nearly 40 fights into his career, and has been spoon-fed crap competition the whole way; even then he still lost 3 and drew 1.:deal
