Great fight but Mattysee is tailormade for Pac. You need to be a technician to beat Pac he would eat Mattysee for lunch.
I think Mathysse is a very good technician though, he is not just a face first slugger but has skills in defense, and boxing ability when coming forward that's why I rate him so high.... he is a good little boxer IMO.
I respectfully disagree. He doesn't have the ring IQ educated footwork nor the counter-punching skill to give Pac problems. He would be game but ultimately get beaten.
Matthysse is a tough SOB boxer puncher... who nobody currently at 140 likes the idea of facing (excluding Rios because he seems to enjoy getting punched in the face) He wouldn't walk forward and brawl with Manny as lots would assume... He'd lose... by decision... Too tough to get KO'd...Pacquiao's speed and skills just too much. Would be interesting to see whether he could handle the inevitable punishment from Pac and if he could land some good body shots 'lost' to Judah & Alexander in close split decisions...
