Provo has made a name for himself but only a good boxer not a great one. He's a good guy to make a comeback fight against. Bradley got respect by beating him in what was essentially a comeback fight. Matthysse could do the same.
Good post. I think Matthysse probably has a better chin than Garcia. I think their power is about the same but if Judah says Matthysse hits harder I'm not gonna argue with him. Matthysse vs Provodnikov would be such a war. Both are come forward fighters, both are very tough and powerful and both have a lot of heart. Very difficult to predict a winner but I will go with Matthysse because I think he's a little smarter in the ring.
Gatti vs ward was Ok but Mathysse vs Provonikov would be better. These are to better class of fighters fighting at a higher level. Would it be better then Corrales vs Castillo. .. well that a different story
Ruslan was hurt a few times in the Bradley fight. It would be good the first few rounds but Mathysse takes him out between 5-8 I think personally think Garcia is huge for 140 and would blast Ruslan in 3-5
Strangely I dislike head on destructive affairs like this one, same with Rios fights, I prefer a fast KO, Shutdown UD or close chess match over mind altering toe to toe beatdowns by defenseless guys :think
