how do you people think max would do against the champs who came after him ?? i see him winning quit a few ones. for example over patterson, over spinks, over holyfield. i even give him a good chance against marciano

His best chance would be against the likes of a Patterson or a Spinks. Holyfield would demoralize him and stop him at some point in the fight. Marciano would probably do the same. Max was pretty one dimensional..kind of like Luis Firpo with just a tad more polish but not much more. Factor in his lack of desire as well. Max didn't care much for the sport. The title didn't mean as much to him as it did other champs. He liked the prestige and money of course but it wasn't his burning desire to be the champ like it was for say Ali or Marciano or Louis which is part of the reason why he didn't fully apply himself. In reality he didn't have the heart or mindset for it. The physical tools he possesed without question. But against later champs who had the tools as well as the desire(And better boxing skills) I don't like his chances.
