    He was a much better fighter than many give him credit for.

    Great video. Those old biographical pieces are a hoot. Cool to see footage of Primo in hospital with the cast on his foot showing how badly his ankle was damaged with that first knockdown.

    Ironic how today whenever someone mentions the name Max Baer, folks will say YEA HE'S THE GUY WHO LOST TO BRADDOCK:lol:, and funny how Baer had a better all around career than Braddock..

    Those of you on here who never saw Cinderella Man find that flick and watch it, pretty good boxing movie..:smoke

    Did Braddock ever meet up with Baer after they retired?:huh

    Pretty astounding he put out on such a poor performance against Braddock. Not to discredit Braddock who stood in their and outfought Baer, but Baer was on a great roll when he lost. He had won 15 in a row. And was coming off a strong of five consecutive big wins.
