I thought Max did a good thing last night by calling out the judge and some other past controversial decisions this year... :good

Max's segment was probably one of the best things HBO has done all year honestly

Max was on target, 119-110 what a joke, my 5 years old boy can score a fight better.

Kellerman takes too much **** on these forums , the guy really loves boxing and is genuine... He just needs to work on some things

We say the same about Areola's weight. I have issues with all of the commentators for HBO, but they are also the entertainment. They have good nights and bad.

I agree to a large extent, but sometimes you get the feeling that Kellerman is more interested in promoting Max than promoting the sport.

I usually like Steward's commentary. He doesn't toe the company line and calls 'em as he sees them. But last night he was so obviously biased toward Williams. Is he in talks to train him or something?

steward is the worst commentator on hbo.. If you actually pay attention to him you will notice he's biased in every fight...

Kellerman sucks. Alone among boxing commentators, he was never a participant or a journalist before he got handed that job on ESPN. HBO should get somebody qualified like Al Bernstein or Steve Farhood.

Exactly. You know, they're all likable guys to me and that's why I don't pick on them much unless they really go off. These guys are just part of the family to me. When they say bonehead things, most of the time, unless it is just blatant HBO hype, I laugh more than anything.

I agree. It often seems that Steward gets preoccupied with making a certain point and being right, so he'll keep saying the same thing over and over. Even when the fight is not going "exactly as (he) said it would," he often ignores that or twists things in a way where he can say it proves a point he's mentioned 14 times already.
