    Sometimes I think he's a Lampley/Merchant wannabe. Tries to imitate unhesitating, loud and strong voice of Lampley and Merchant's tough/borderline rude style of interviewing. What is his own thing though? Even Lennox had his own thing as a commentator which was being kinda goofy. This guy doesn't seem to bring anything interesting.

    max and lampley i dnt like. glad merchant is gone didnt really like him either. andre ward is always really good. roy jones is really good. emmanuel is missed hes better then max and lampley.

    HBO should have two commentators,Jim Lampley and Roy Jones..,Kellerman is shocking..

    I personally dislike lampley more than Kellerman because I actually like Kellerman


    they all suck compared to the SHO crew

    Max Kellerman attended a publicly funded but exclusive high school that has been criticized for being very reluctant to admit black and Hispanic students. In 2009, only 3% of the students were black and 1% were Hispanic.

    Does he really though? If he was a poster on the classic forum I think his knowledge of history would be pretty average.

    It says a lot about HBO that they have brought Max in under the illusion that he will appeal to a younger audience. What young boxing fans really relate to this guy?
