Last night's interview was especially bad. I could have thought of a dozen better questions off the top of my head.

1.) What could he explain to fans why he wouldn't face Ward?
2.) What was said during his exchange with Pascal?
3.) How did it feel to surpass his own record? How did that feeling compare with the second Pascal fight?
4.) Did he have a hit list for the next few years?
5.) Would he consider going overseas to face the winner of Froch-Kessler II
6.) Would he entertain the idea of moving up to cruiserweight to face Yoan Pablo Hernandez another titlist?

All that being said, Ward really negated Kellerman's stupidity. Andre is completely objective, and his intelligence in dissecting fights from outside the ropes matches his brains inside the ring.

I'm not a Kellerman fan at all, but he's Gil Clancy compared to Showtime's Mauro Ranallo.

I've always been skeptical but he's getting better. Still a ways to go.

The hilarious thing is he doesn't ask tough questions he just kisses their ass Merchant was so much better. Kellerman doesn't know Boxing he was handed every job he has had by his Daddy's connection. The guy is a joke.

I like kellerman.. he tends to call fights as it is and maybe thats why he didint attend the pac vs jmm 4 fight.. he seemed to be the only commentator that saw jmm winning.. even said (and pacquiao looking upIinto the sky"or heaven something like that".. not again with this guy) was the only one saying jmm was winning...

He's fine. From what I can tell, he knows a lot about boxing history and is very up on current events in the sport. He fills that role well. His analysis of what is actually happening in the ring is spotty, but that's why you have Ward or Jones there.

I think the way he presents himself suffers because he found success too early and never really developed a voice. Sometimes he is too affected, like he is trying to be what people want to see, where someone like Merchant or Bernstein is more their own man. That aspect is at its worst in interviews, but I don't really care about interviews so it's not a big deal to me.

Kellerman is an annoying *******. That is no secret. He may know a lot of historical facts, but his analysis of what is going on in the ring is terrible. HBO are already having a bad start to the year with Mayweather going elsewhere, but keeping this fairy around will only make things worse.

Yes, this man is probably even worse than Kellerman.

I recall the good old days before tag-team commentators, when one knowledgeable guy called the entire fight, with long breaks to let the action speak for itself.

What bull****. Kellerman did ANYTHING but "pay dues." :patsch Alone among boxing commentators, he never worked as boxing journalist or participant. :-(

Kellerman's lone "qualification" before being plucked from obscurity and put on ESPN? Hosting a rinky-dink cable access show on boxing. Oh, and his rich daddy's connections - which were his real "qualifications.":yep

Kellerman is awesome. He seems restricted on HBO though. Like he has a stick up his ass. He is great on Los Angeles radio. Always speaking his mind. I wish that Max was on HBO.

What's strange to me about Kellerman is, I think he's digressing as a commentator. I thought he was actually better when he first started!
