I can't believe so many people are defending him. I would have loved to see Merchant interview Roy after last night's fight. Max never asks good questions.
please explain why that makes a person unlikeable. would he be more appreciated if he was young and didnt know his ****? or maybe if he was old and knew his ****, or old and didnt know his ****. im not sure which one of these examples i should hate the most. please help, confused
Wow last night Max was officially at his gayest. PISSED ME OFF when he tried to be funny like Merchant. Totally copying Merchant's style of commentary.
Kellerman sucks. He kisses up to the boxers he interviews, his cheap NY accent makes him sound like a homeless street urchin, his eyes bug outta his head like he's wired to the gills, his boxing knowledge is very limited to generalities, he's too opinionated & bias and it shows. Merchant is better & so is Lampley, Jones Jr., Bernstein, Lewis, Sean O'Grady or Teddy Atlas.
I agree with you. I hate that little shrieking homosexual drug addict. But you can't get rid of him. Why? because his daddy is a big shot in the network. That's why he got the job in the first place.
OMG so many haters, why? I think Max is alright overall, he was good last night. I prefer him over Larry these days, when Larry is there the commentators turn into 3 grumpy old men, always complaining and whining about everything, especially with Emmanuel there. They were horrible at the Floyd vs Hatton fight... Max knows a lot about boxing, and most importantly he recognizes the fact that he will never know what it's like to be in a fight, which he pointed out in the Golota match... I agree he needs to improve his interviewing skills though...
I thought I could get used to him, but every fight that I watch with him commentating he gets more and more annoying every single time. Sometimes he just talks about random **** that has nothing to do with anything, on top of his nuthugging. He needs to go. Bring back Merchant.
