You don't have to be impressed, that's his choice, but he won't ever be relevant in any historical discussions if he does retire, yeah.

Now way Eddie Earn is going to let him RIP (retire in peace), there is more money to made from the cash cow.

He can fight any of these.

    Whyte
    Wallin
    Parker
    Wilder
    Andy Ruiz 3
    Michael Hunter
    Hughie Fury

Out of that list Hearn won’t match Joshua with Wilder until last, that’s if at all. Wilder will brutally KO Joshua and certainly retire him !

Maybe he really lost his heart for boxing, but its normal that boxers need a break after such losses. Maybe his passion for boxing comes back after a year or so.

    I've got 3
    This content is protected

    1. He takes a year or more off and comes back (most likely)
    2. He gonna have a warm-up fight in 2023 and then go for the Whyte rematch (probably)
    3. He will finally retire and won't have fights anymore (don't think so)

He won't go near Wilder with a bodyguard, I doubt he'd fight Ruiz either no point in it. Whyte? that's about right if Arreola isn't available

Joshua will book a sure win or two in 2023. A break would make things worse.
If he stays busy for a year or so, Fury and Usyk will retire and he can get a title.

He needs to get back in the ring. The longer he waits, the more difficult it will be.

    Agree

He needs hard sparring in a very uncomfortable environment to bring out a nastiness within him

So far, everything he has done has been in public where there has been so much scrutiny and criticism.

He needs to fade back and work on his game before coming back.

Even the biggest athletes in the world do their prep work privately. For some reason, Joshua has taken it upon himself to self publicise everything and is now reaping public resentment that has built up over the years

He knows he will never get those W’s back from Usyk. And I think that really to the wind out of his sails. Usyk severely damaged Joshua’s ego, which was quite frankly out of control and blown up.

    Good Riddance!! :)

The sooner Joshua retires the better for the sport.

It's perfectly understandable. The bodybuilder could go on to unify the division once Fury and Usyk leave. But for a historical purposes, he'll always be known as a paper unified champion. lol
