i didnt say nobody respected him i said more respect would have been forthcoming if he'd have folowed his dream and found out how good he really was. i have respect for anyone who steps in the ring, and even more for anyone who achieved what nigel benn did, but respect also becomes a relative term on any forum because its stands against what could have been achieved.
you're replying like a child. if you want to talk to me then talk to me. the other guys are. you dont have to agree with me but talking that tripe isnt going to change anything. if you think i'm wrong tell me why.
Yeah and he put barkley down 3 times in the first round and he actualy fought 5 times in a row in the states :good
fair enough. but I'm pretty sure you must live in a cave wherever you are as your knowledge on Benn seems non existent. i posted a vid on him on the main forum. i suggest you watch it for some enlightenment
i already have. and my point is serious, i'm sick of people telling untruths on here about good fighters. like i say young kids could come on here wanting to find out about the best fighters and read basic lies about them being scared of fighting world class fighters. they could then tell their mates, and so on. it pisses me off. if you dont like a fighter fine, say that, but dont make **** up.
aplogies...i meant eubank was a gifted fighter. i'm tired...... taking nothing away from benn mind you.
mate im begining to feel sorry for you here. your taking more of a beating than benn ever dished out. looks like you ****ed with the wrong fighter. haha there is a lot of nigel benn love here. haha
Do you remember his entrance dong dong dong, get you really hyped up when you heard them chimes :good
fair enough too. but you didn't say anything in this post that i didn't already know. i'm posting at prime UK time and i knew that. by the way, it was eubank i was trying to model my example on and it got lost somewhere. perhaps my fault but i'm getting too tired to juggle it all at once. i'll give it a shot.
dont you guys ever wonder how different things could have been for UK boxers if everythign wasn't american oriented? take the best fighters over the last 20 years.
couldnt agree more. the man was a warrior. i grew up watching him fight. you had benn, eubank, colins. mclellen, watson. etc there was some mental tallent and some brutal fights back then.
