no, we're talking about benn. the only rumour i've ever heard on why jones benn never happened was because roy was shell shocked at what benn did to mclellan, his friend.

at least calzaghe went to the US to cash in against aged champs, but witter never had that choice and sat at home crying out for hatton which he had been for so many years before.

do you know why witter didnt get a hatton fight or calzaghe didn't fight jones or hopkins in their prime?

because hatton was the only british fighter in recent memory who actually threw caution to the wind, said 'screw the cushy paydays', and had enough self-respect to chase his dream and fight to best p4p fghter in the world in his prime.

regardless of the outcome, i just dont see how anyone (british or not) can't admire a fighter who isn't afraid to go against convention and do that.
