I think quit is the wrong word, couldn't continue sounds a bit better??

 

It's a tough call, I have mo doubt he was hit harder by Tito though.. Either way I'm just happy Cotto is winning and is getting the chance back to really do a number on Margarito....

 

The reason that theory is so alien to me, is because Mayorga has never done anything like that before. Even in more dire situations.

 

If he faked it, that was some incredibly quick thinking .

I can see we're you're coming from Tony, you're not saying he quit like taking a dive quit or lacking heart quit, but it might had been when he sat down his stool the wars he's been in might have caught up with him.

I do think he was hurt personally, although if it was a case of the wars catching up with him, especially with 3 minutes ahead of Cotto stalking him, you can't blame him or his corner pulling out, injury or no.

 

You do know he was only getting a small percentage of what he due to paid due to a Don King lawsuit. He was only getting 20% of his purse, take training expenses from that, is it worth taking sustained punishment for slave wages.

I don't even think Ricardo knows why he does what he does. He got back up and tried to continue i'm not sure but i'd say that left hook took the fight out of him. It seemed to hit him and shake the body up.

The guy ****ing fought his ass off for 12 rounds and gave Cotto all he could handle with what he had left and he took a shot from Cotto, looked legit injured, got up and tried to fight on then decided he couldn't fight and quit? Do you people not know who Mayorga is or something?

****, people can be so dumb. Just because the punch didn't land clean as **** doesn't mean it didn't hurt it. You can snag your thumb, it is a delicate thing, especially in boxing.
