Cintron has all of the talent and technique to defeat Mayorga.

Why is it, prime for prime, I still don't think Kermit WOULD?

Well, I think pressure fighters bother Cintron. I know, it's early to say this, but what the hell, he won a title and lost it to Margarito the same way he did in their first fight. He started better in the rematch, but was unraveled by... PRESSURE!!!

Mayorga doesn't know how to back up (unless he is being funny and doing an Ali impression - the guy can be hilarious), and I see him swarming Cintron, landing alot early, and putting him away later, probably on cuts.

But with Cintron, he's always got a punchers chance.

Your post is a catch 22. When is he going to use all of his talent and technique? That is what he has, a punch. If he can't get you out of there he is in trouble. He started boxing at a late age, but Manny said he was improving. Unless Margarito has his number, but he really needs to use his reach and height to his advantage. You can't knock everyone out.

I got Mayorga; but Cintron would have a good shot at winning the fight.

who wins? i favor Mayoga, but i also think it is exactly what Cintron needs, a tough minded pressure, hittable fighter who will take shots, fight back but as contradicting as it sounds is also knockable out. I would like the fight for it to be at 154 were Cintron could explore new waters and perhaps find a better weight class for him, one with lesser competition and where he also could be stronger, more mobil and have better stamina which i think he loses some in making weight, although his never really complained so it's all speculation. So in conclusion, although it is a stiff test for Cintron i think it is the kind of crossroad fight he needs.
