The only shocker is it's going to be on Showtime PPV instead of HBO PPV. And Dan Rafael is saying Floyd's signed a deal with Showtime to fight 6 time over the next 30 months.

edit: Not 6 times over 30 months but UPTO 6 times.

    GREAT FIGHT IMO

Guerrero is going to give Floyd Mayweather his toughest fight yet IMO. He WILL bring it.

HBO have lost their golden boy  If that is indeed true. I dread to think the sort of money Showtime have paid for this.

Another surprise is 6 fights over 30 months. I didnt think Mayweather would fight that many.

    Guerrero
    Alexander
    Bradley
    Pacquiao?
    Canelo?
    Martinez?

    :huh

I wonder if Floyd feels the end is neigh and knows he needs to get as many fights in asap before he loses his sharpness.

Plus maybe Showtime have budged him into fighting that many times. 6 wins leaves him at 49-0.

Can't see Mayweather fighting 6 times in 30 months. It's just not realistic. If he sticks around that long, there's absolutely no way he's staying undefeated. Surprising to see him go to Showtime.

You get what you pay for, looks like HBO weren't even willing to match that.

6 fights is the surprise to me, I honestly didnt think Mayweather would fight that many more fights. Not 6 anyway.

    Guerrero is a cert (obviously)
    Alexander is a cert IMO
    Bradley is a cert IMO
    Marquez is a cert IMO
    Pacquiao a possibility
    Canelo a possibility
    I don't know about Martinez.

But you can see 6 fights out of that lot.

Be good to see Floyd out 6 more times, think that this (hopefully) solidifies the chance of a September fight against the Canelo-Trout fight.

Mayweather tends to fight twice a year, May 5th and then later in the year, so if its true, 30 months, thats 5 fights.

The Alexander fight is a gimme, easy work for Floyd, thats why he wants it. He will stop Alexander and look good doing it in an easy nights work.

So I can see 6 fights, Alexander is one of those. 6 is probably right, especially if you see it the way Skills said.

Perhaps he wants to squeeze as many in as possible? The Cotto fight, whilst he won, the cracks have started to appear, not huge or anywhere near enough for him to lose, but the cracks are there IMO.

Better wait for confirmation on this first. But I cant believe HBO would lose Mayweather, unless Showtime offered mega money.

I reckon Trout wins against Canelo. Trout wont fight Mayweather. They wont let it happen.

Similar **** happened with Paul Williams.

But the difference here is Trout is close to the money team isn't he?.....They dont like matching 2 fighters they have together. Bad for business.

Looks like Floyd won't be retiring soon after all. Still feels he has a lot left in the tank.

Thank **** he's off of HBO, can't bare them. They either sucked dick his dry or **** on his accomplishments, all depended on who he was fighting (e.g. a foreign fighter or a fellow American). I think what Larry Merchant did was the last straw for Floyd, he decided he didn't want to be on that network with those idiots anymore and I don't blame him.

Looking forward to seeing lots more Money Mayweather fights over the next few years. :)

I'll believe 6 times in 30 months when I see it. No chance IMHO.

His last 6 fights has been over the space of 6 years, Gaz is right there's no chance of it.
