The 2 main resons for optimism for Pac fans against Mayweather are that:- a) Mayweather has had some problems with southpaws. Marquez's main success was neutralising Pac's left hand, Mayweather has to do the same. b) Mayweather has a tendency to back himself against the ropes at times. Despite the fact he has fantastic defence in those situations, I'm not sure this is a great idea against an accumulative power-puncher. Pac will be dangerous early when Floyd tends to get hit, but I think it will be a (relatively) comfortable decision for Floyd.

Mayweather has never had problems with southpaws.He lands over 45% of his punches against southpaws.In contrast,they land about 18% of their punches against Floyd. If this qualifies as,"problems with southpaws",then every boxer should hope to have such problems.
Floyd would ko pac inside of 7-8 rounds-Pac wont be able to deal with the arm length or counterpunching...nor would he be able to deal with Floyds footwork. Floyd KO Pac in 7...maybe 8 rounds.
yea sure, near Middle weight sized fighters gave Pac their best punch and couldn't put him down, but lil Gayweather is gonna hurt Pac! Pac's chin is granitof late.
Comparitively he has. That was evident early against Judah, against Corley (who couldn't miss in one round...I think it was the 4th), and even against Sharmba. If they were orthodox fighters, guys of this level wouldn't land 1 punch (with the exception of Judah).
He's not really a runner. Never quite got why people classified him like that. In a few fights he was really negative and "ran", but most of the time he's controlling the distance without really shuffling away at every opportunity like a lot of amateurish defensive fighters do.
