The ref was also generous in letting Corley continue. Down twice and basically getting his ass whipped.

It's not about how hard a fighter hits, but how well. Floyd is accurate and throws shots that opponents don't see coming which makes him dangerous. The fact that he doesn't punch like Tommy Hearns is insignificant because of what he does well.

He's got enough to get the job done, so does Marquez

Keep in mind, I said his lack of power was a potential weakness.

By "potential," I mean if he were to challenge some of the fighters at 147 and up.

Floyd doesn't lack power. Watch him KO DeMarcus Corley.

Yeah, but watch him hit Gatti with everything in the book and not knock him down.

Watch him hit N'Dou with his right hand repeatedly about 5000 times.

I mean, the guy doesn't have Malinaggi power, but he lacks power.

To me, I think it's his only potential weakness depending on which direction he chooses to go.

It's likely the reason why he wouldn't be able to go up to middleweight for instance and dominate, but that's not a knock on Floyd, that's just nature.

If Floyd cant KO JMM, then Id favor Pac if they fight.... Because its going to look like the first 4 rounds of the Judah fight but multiply it by 100. Pac will not fold and will be there throwing for 20 relentless rounds if it goes that long.

Its going to be a real hurting. This puts alot of pressure on Floyd, If he loses, his legacy is gone and will only be remembered by 3 guys here on ESB.

If he loses to JMM, (knock on wood) His Uncle Roger may be considered the best of all Mayweathers. It would be a disaster of Biblical proportions

Put it like this he has enough power to stop you from walking through his shots and when you land your power punches at a 50% clip or greater that's more than enough.:deal

It's more than enough at 140, but what about at 147?

Was this the reason he didn't fight Margarito?

He does lack power but his speed makes up for it some.

Wow you're right his chin has never been truly tested with a huge shot. Can Manny be the one to truly test it?

Not clean KO, but TKO yes. I feel JMM is too open and will get hit with sharp, crisp punches.
