Theres def. worse things to happen to boxing than Jermaine Taylor but he was never as good as HBO were trying to make out. Bertos is getting the same treatment.

The heavyweights are all the wrong nationalities so HBO need a personable American fighter at 160 or 147 to try and fill the gap.

I'm not against Taylor or Berto...its HBO

They're like the rags, building these guys up to disproportional levels only to provide a great stage for them to flop.

Personable?? I think Berto comes across like a bit of an ******* to be honest. Ironically enough, thats one of the reasons i liked Taylor, bit of a gentleman.

All this weight jumping thing is impressing me less and less.

I'd rather see Floyd put on a all round master class, than see him go up in weight and a spend a fight pot shotting to a degree never seen before, not even by him.

Take Adamek and Jones at HW for example, it doesn't do anything for me - the guys are not really fighting. I know Adamek is a warrior, but it was just boring seeming him punch and run from Arreola all night, knowing fully to well he could never ever hurt him - it all seems a bit false to me.

These guys just don't belong at those weights, are better and more entertaining at others. Floyd would never have any power at 160...

I'm finding it hard to put my point across... but it's there somewhere...

Floyd's an exceptional fighter where he is, it's a joy to watch... why spoil that by heaping shed loads of weight on him and taking many dimensions away from a one off in a generation fighter... he's a privilege to watch where he is...

I honestly believe Martinez would be lucky to win more than 2 rounds against Floyd. Floyd doesnt have to be able to hurt someone to beat them and he is far too slick to be out boxexed by Martinez.

Kelly Pavlik is a slow plodding fighter who depends on power and made Martinez look good but Floyd would be a different kettle of fish.

I think that when Pac gets smacked flush he will revert to type and start jumping around like a spasticated cricket

Yeah, Mayorga stopped Forrest in the 3rd. Caught him high and blasted him out. Was pretty brutal.

    Size/jab/athleticism; Prime Forrest>>>>Floyd

Yeah thats Pacquiao's type alright, a spasticated cricket...

There are many spasticated crickets that are seven weight champions.
