I don't think the gap between them is big enough to result in a 12-0, people aren't giving Ortiz enough credit in the boxing skills department. But yeah, it'll mostly be a slaughter. His only hope is to get lucky and catch Floyd with a big one. If that happens, well who knows what'll transpire.
wide UD for floyd, and a small chance of stoppage. ortiz is not as smart as marquez. floyd's accurate punching will land more often and at some point i see ortize getting hurt. ortiz is riding on that win over berto and seems to think he is superman because of that one fight. i sure hope he's not taking training lightly and start loosening up. he'll get schooled whatever the case.

People seem to think since Mayweather walked down Mosley hes going to do the same to Ortiz . I doubt that happens . If it does Floyd gon get rocked cause Victor is not going be gun shy and throw 2 punchs a round like Shane did . To be honest i dont understand why so many people see a knockout win for Floyd . He hasnt had a stoppage since 07 and hes coming off a 16 month layoff . A knockout is not going to happen . But besides all that Ortiz is going to lose . Ive said it from the moment this fight was signed , Floyd is just superior in every way and i cant really see what Victor can do to win . Look for Floyd to outbox a very game and determined Ortiz . My prediction is it will be just like Mayweather - Hatton. Probably a carbon copy, refereeing and all.
Well I think a KO is gonna happen because Mayweather is gonna have to unleash massive combos to get Ortiz off his back. I think Ortiz starts eating alot of punches and his corner or the ref stops it. Dont forget Mayweather almost got a TKO against Mosley because Nazim told Mosley hes bout to stop it because hes eating to many damn punches
Any fighter who is routinely getting clipped and knocked down against Andre Berto really has no business being favoured over the likes of Floyd Mayweather.
I actually do believe Ortiz is a skillful fighter. I see him getting very frustrated, and expending a ton of energy early. I think he still has tremendous upside, but this fight will not display his talent.
