Is a 10 million pound weight penalty the normal??, Mayweather has made another concession with the 14 day no testing window.
Fanny Pacquiao still cant use the excuse about blood tests making him weak because he will more than enough time to recover even though that excuse was bollocks in the first place.
I dont know anyone else in the world who would turn down $40 million just because he doesnt want a blood test 14 days before the fight.

Don't bring up the weight penalty, Mayweather had no problem with that therefore it wasn't a concession, case closed.

As for the cash thing. Manny is already worth what, 100-150 million+? He'll get 15-25 million for whoever he fights next, plus he's destined to be the next president of his country, and you're judging him from what perspective? Do you fit any of the criteria I've just described? No, therefore you're opinion of the money on the table doesn't have any merit does it?

I bet whoever he fights next, he will get a lot more fighting Mayweather and boxing is only a short career so anyone would want to get as much out of it as possible. Mayweather didnt after agree to the $10 million weight penalty because it isnt a normal penalty you would put on someone so therefore it is a concession.

So he couldn't be juicing in the build up, right?

So you seriously think he wants to open a 24 day window pre-fight to squeeze in one cycle of HGH/steroid abuse?

I'm just pointing out that he would have a 2 week window to take the drugs. That's it.

People make out like he'd be able to cane it to his hearts content up until the last 2 weeks, but it's the opposite.

 

I think it was said further up that there is a lot we dont know about in this, so anything we say is purely speculation. So without adding to it, I'll just say what facts I want to know before deciding who I think is right or wrong;

• Is there a precedent for this type of testing anywhere else in the professional game?
• I want someone with medical knowledge (ie a doctor, not some keyboard warrior who thinks he knows it all because his mate has been on the juice) to tell me whether any drug use 30 days immediately prior to the fight can really be performance enhancing (especially when there will be drug test immediately after the bout)?
• What is the average gate receipts of fights in Vegas in March?
• What is the average gate receipts of fights in Vegas in November?
• Will the world economy have picked up a little more between now and Novermber?
• Do the Vegas casinos want this fight to wait until November because they know they will get more tourists in November than they will in March particularly if the fight is agreed around June, giving the average punter 5 months to get himself to Sin City?

No he's not, remember it was Mayweather who came in with the unprecedented stipulations in the first place. Just because you eventually compirimise your own excessive demands does not mean that you are 'bending over backwards'.

....it's the oldest trick in the salesman's book, make a totally unreasonable offer which you expect to be refused, then cut that back so much that the other person thinks that you are getting a wonderful deal...when in fact you are still being shafted.
