Good point, I can see Mayweather stringing combos together due to Clottey's low punch output, I was just thinking that both are natural counter punchers they would wait for each other to get off first.

floyd wins all day, everybody knows that but i think you're exaggerating a bit. Clottey had close fights with margo, pwill, win against judah and imo shoulda won against cotto.

Clottey has never fought Williams and Margarito broke the record on the compubox machine for the punches he threw at him.

How can Clottey possibly win with no pressure, no footwork, and no workrate? The guy fights like a better version of AA and thats it. You can't give Floyd time or he will pick you apart.

That's actually a good description of him, a feather fisted Abraham.

floyd has no workrate like pacquiao has to make clottey stand on a shell. floyd would win but not as dominant as pacquiao was. probably a very boring fight between two defensive-minded guys.

Clottey is about as slick as play-doh.

I am not that Floyd would have defeated Cotto when Cotto was undefeated or the Cotto who defeated Shane Mosley. It still seems that Floyd lacks balls to face him now.

Based on what? When has Cotto ever made an attempt to go after Mayweather?
