It consisted of shots that apparently didn't hurt Clottey too much. The 10 punches Clottey landed had Pacquiao looking a lot worse for wear.

This would be a boring fight... Besides what in the world could Clottey do to win this fight? Hes not a big puncher so throw out a knockout,, Outbox Floyd? LOL........ OUthustle him HAHAH... You must be pretty bored to come up with a matchup like this and make a thread.

And How in the hell as this thread gone on for 7 pages??

Most of pac's punches hit Clottey's guard, since that's what he kept up. So how is that a slight to Pac? And let me guess, you think Floyd would punch through that guard or something? :huh

Bad guess. Floyd would find openings. He would bait his opponent then counter; he would use technique. That's what he does. Surely you're not going to suggest that Pacquiao is more accurate than Floyd? I don't know how speaking facts is a 'slight' to Pac. Him landing 20% of his punches is not an insult, its a fact (refer to compubox). He won that fight on activity and the lack thereof of his opponent. There was no precision just aggression.

I'd like to see this fight, no matter how boring it is likely to be. Clottey has a habit of making all his opponents look bad, win or lose. I'd just like to see how Mayweather's style does against him compared to Margo, Cotto, Judah and Pac

    Great point.

While I watched that fight I was getting more pissed at Pac then Clottey. Clottey was a sitting duck the whole damn time and Pac didn't even try to make any adjustments to his offense. When he went to the body he was doing some damage so I couldn't understand why he wouldn't do it more. Eventually Clottey would drop his arms more and that would have created openings up top. Watching a Clottey/Mayweather match would be no more boring than watching Pac hit Clottey's arms for 12 rounds.

This fight was when I started questioning Pac's skill level. Clottey was like a puzzle. All defense and no offense. Midway through the fight you can tell Pac was frustrated because he couldn't get to Clottey. But he didn't try to adjust his style to fix the problem. Oh well, a win is a win.

Clottey dominates Floyd and KOs him in the late rounds.
