Lets get this straight, the only slim chance Mayweather will take this fight is if Mosley looks old overnight and rather bad against Berto. If he decimates Berto Floyd will obviously stay well clear. Mayweather don't want to fight Mosley, lets be honest with ourselves otherwise he would have done already.
I dont get fighting Mosely. Mosely is a tougher fight than Pac for a whole lot less cash. Cudos if he does (which I doubt).

I seriously doubt this. I think Pac presents many more stylistic problems for Floyd than Shane does. I agree with the threadstarter that he's banking on an aging Mosley to step into the ring.
Maybe, just maybe the fight might happen now, 2 months ago I would never have believed Floyd would fight guys like Mosley or Pac. But now I'm not so sure... but if it happens I would bet on Mosley

mayweather called out mosley...they were gonna fight a few years ago but then shane had a ''tooth ache'' and backed out. He only wants to fight floyd now for the payday before he retires
It seems to me that too many people overlook the patent FACT that many fighters have already figured out how to neutralize Mosley's skills. Look people--Mosley looked great in his last fight simply because his opponent had JUST been busted with a very SERIOUS offense. Margarito's head was NOT in that fight, and Mosley simply capitalized on it. What was Mosley doing BEFORE that fight? Answer: not a whole hell of a lot. In short, Floyd, if the fight happens, will likely do to Mosley what others have already done--neutralize his abilities and make him look flat. Mosley is NOT invincible people. All you have to do is LOOK. :deal Personally, I'm rooting for Berto on Jan. 31, and hoping that Mayweather/Berto happens later this year. War and Peace.
Surely you can't believe that? He's got enough money as it is, deep down he must think to himself about his legacy. Its gotta matter to him. Who doesnt want all the glory? I think this final phase of his career is gonna force to take on all comers.
Since when has MAyweather gone off fighters having bad performances, all of his opponents have been in devastating form coming into fights with Mayweather, its Pacman that goes after fighters who've had recent bad performances

How is Mosley a tougher fight than Pac. No way in hell. The Mosley fight is a great one but the best fighter in the world is Pac, not Mosley.
