Is similar to Prime RJJ, they're so good, it's actually a negative.

nah its FOCUS.....for Roy he really felt he had beat eeryone and there really wasn't anyone for him to get up for and cahllenge him...and actually for a while it was like that...i think he stopped taking it serious he wasn't hungry....

Floyd has plenty of fighters to get up for.......not to say it means he won't lose he still will but i think soons as he loses that focus and start branching out like Roy(started making music and videos and recording Albums) will finally catch his defeat.

    i think they beat themselves.

It's because they're so good they loose focus. So i guess it goes hand in hand.

Sometimes a defeat isn't a bad thing, makes a fighter want to prove his worth again.

He's so good, he'll never get the respect he deserves until he is no longer an active boxer.

People will always match him against challengers, saying he should fight this guy, he should fight this guy. They'll always bring someone new to the table.

I personally think Floyd should have two more fights, Cotto and Williams...after that i don't think he has anything more to achieve at welterweight. Providing he wins both.

    I didn't once compare they're boxing abilities/skills...

However, i'm simply saying both fighters were/are too good for they're own good.

Roy was fun to watch, Floyd is not. Floyd fights like someone trying to "not lose", Roy (younger Roy) fought like someone trying to win.
I think that has to do with Roy having some power. Roy would occasionally take a big risk, jump in with a big power shot. He's move foward sometimes. He was just so fast, it wasn't really a risk.
Floyd does have better fundamentals though. But Roy was more physically gifted.

I agree, his focus level is far beyond Jones focus :yep
