Please rate these guys in order of pure skill alone. Im not talking about the amount of belts or weight classes ect. Just pure boxing skill.
Hopkins, Toney, McCallum. This is close, but Hopkins is the best defensive middleweight I've seen on film. He slips a right hand lead better than anyone IMO. Some fighters are able to tell when a fighter will throw by watching their feet when against the ropes, but Hopkins can read an opponent in the middle of the ring as well. A phenomenal defensive fighter.
McCallum Toney Hopkins Toney is my favourite of the three, but I think McCallum is an underrated genius.
Hopkins McCallum Toney Love Toney and he did beat McCallum, but McCallum had a wider variety of skills imo, and Hopkins even more so. Hardly anything between these guys though.
