Mccallum's power

    I know most big hitters loose a bit of oomph the higher they go but why did he have such a drastic drop off? He went from 32 wins and 29 ko's at 154, to 17 wins with only 7 ko's at 160 and above.
    He knocked out his opponent in every title defense, so his KO streak wasn't entirely built on feasting on journeymen.

    Is his lack of one punch power to blame? Was his timely approach and accumulation of punishment not wearing the bigger guys at much?

    I think it was a combination of him fighting bigger men and old age. It also might have been him subtly adjusting his style to be more methodical rather than going for easy knockouts
