This guy had a chance to be on HBO but go KO'd by a bum, had a draw against a bum, and now last night he gets UD'd by a bum.

He has solidified his stepping stone status and will have to do some serious soul serching before he could make it to where he once was. I don't even know if thats possible, fighting in the super middleweight division which is stocked with talented fighters (contenders, champions, and prospects)

He'll just have to face it, he's a stepping stone.

Boxing needs stepping stones... It is what it is. BTW I'm glad the judges got that decision right.

The judges got the decision wrong, McGirt won the fight on my card. McGirt isn't a good fighter but he should have got the decision.

It could have gone either way, but I think he was far too willing to engage inside, which is obviously not his strong suit.

I wouldn't say he's garbage but you're right he'll never ammount to much.

McGirt had 1 loss and 1 draw on his resume, both were fights that he was supposed to win.

This guy was supposed to be a stepping stone for McGirt and from what I seen last night, McGirt was on ***** street a few times.

i won't disagree with any one of you, i do think that mcgirt is sub par at most..for such a tall fighter with long arms, the last place he should be fighting is on the inside. and whenever he fights fighters that attack from the inside (DeLeon Jr, Angel Hernandez) he gets beat up. He has a questionable chin cause he has been rocked on several occasions and for him to opt not to fight from the outside using his rangy jab is senseless. He's 26 but fights like an amateur. Future tomatoe can unless he changes trainers. Buddy is world class but I'm thinking he shields his son, especially with the way he was surprised about losing, as if the constant pressure and the showboating of Hernandez didn't make it obvious.

I agree with ya' pimp about how hard he'll have to work to get out into the good light again, but fitz, how you just gonna call him garbage?

To me that's ****ed up bro. He might never even be a stepping stone, but he's a man, not ****in garbage.

He won the fight. But, he couldn't keep Hernandez off of him. The judges obviously looked at that.
