#43. I've known Dave for years. The Hollington is close to where I grew up.
#49. Yep, got that one wrong. But did you expect a bloated Williams to sacrifice his body like he did? Tell the truth?
And just to finally clear up the 'tosspot' reference - it was aimed at the gonad-free posters who promised to rip me a new jacksi and then hid under their Donald Duck duvets.

Adios (I'm going now for a few days.)

Bunce who do you think would win a street fight between yourself and Bernard Hopkins?

    No weapons allowed.

After the Potter fight(dislocated shoulder) and the Tyson brawl (fraught first round) I never questioned his heart...did I expect him to prove to be so durable as to last for 8 rounds? No. That did surprise me I do confess.

When he overexagerates it is funny but at times it doesn't make him look good. For example he was saying things like Arthur Abraham never fights out of Germany, when in fact he is fighting Miranda in Florida in a few weeks time. He seems like a good bloke and he has his flaws but no one is perfect. Like a few of the guys on here were saying, he has good knowledege and passion for the sport. I also respect him as he was also one of the few journalists who spoke well of and covered MMA (UFC).

Ive said it before and I'll say it again, Bunce is great !

He loves the sport , he knows how to entertain as a speaker and he's a great writer. Could it be some of the anti-Bunce feeling is jealousy amongst internet "journalists" . I read Big Daddy Bunce in the Boxing Monthly and then some of the sh*te that passes for articles on the front page here and I despair !

I keep seeing " He exaggerates " as a criticism . Journalism doesn't have to be the factual truth so long as the emotional truth is there .

Check out some Hunter Thompson or Ralph Wiley it'll blow your socks off !

Flux with all due respect thats tosh !

Thompson wrote more than anything about politics but he loved boxing too.

For an example of what I mean read some of his descriptions of Bush , Nixon or Clintion the facts are nonsense but they drip in TRUTH.

Another one for you , check out " The Fight " by Norman Mailer describing the build up to the Rumble in the Jungle and the fight itself. The very long description of the fight is chock full of hyperbole but it describes the fight better than any blow by blow account ever could.

Open yourself up to the art of it my brothers !
