Our gym in Missouri is putting on an amateur card/fundraiser this weekend and if you would of told young me that one day I'd be picking up at the airport and having dinner with Thomas Hearns, Riddick Bowe, Ray Mercer and Cory Spinks I wouldn't believe it. All great guys, humble and respectful. Just wanted to share this with you guys.
Has soon as he landed Bowe wanted to stop at McDonalds lol. Cory Spinks was quiet but we did talk about the St Louis Cardinals. We took him by their Double A stadium in Springfield. Ray Mercer was talkative and a great personality. Hearns was very kind to all of us. Unfortunately he has really slowed down. He is still very articulate, it just takes Tim for him to say things and he moves really slow but he is a great man and there I still an aura around him. Michael Spinks came to the event and he was fun to talk to. He was flashing that smile all weekend. It was such an honor to be around these guys and they seemed to enjoy their time here.
