50% of what you just said is the biggest load of bull**** I have ever read in my entire life. I highly doubt the ratio between puerto rican boxers to its population is that kind of an exaggeration lmao. Even if PR produced more boxers per its population in comparison to Mexico ITS STILL SAD. If this is the case it basically pretty much says a couple things: Boxing doesn't mean **** in Mexico and there are a lot of you mother ****ers in the world. Either or, you're basically just accepting the fact that Boxing is a bigger passion to the Island of Puerto Rico than it is in Mexico, which is understandable you guys got your soccer and such. But if you wanna act like an idiot by pretending like Puerto Rico doesn't deserve props because it competes and represents itself in the sport of boxing Just as well as a country that is 26x larger in population than go ahead because its sad. The truth is, You got a lot of Mexican boxers TONS more Mexican boxers in the world and the probability of Mexico eventually producing ATG fighters that rank quite high is a A LOT larger than the possibility of Puerto Rico producing champions that rank just as high. In the end its not about which nationality has a higher ranked fighter among the ATGs. In the end the only thing that matters is how the country represents itself consistently in the sport and PR pretty much does as good as you can get.
once again the 39-20 count were from significant bouts in PR vs Mexico boxing history...the best from both countries fighting eachother. Your boxing knowledge is only limited to Chavez, and Sanchez...you really need to do your homework sweetheart. Mexicans can only remember Gomez losing to Sanchez, but forget about Gomez Koing 15 mexicans in a row at 122lb including the great Zarate.

Yeah I already agreed to that. But the fact is a greater population and a long history of boxing is eventually bound to produce a high ranked ATG fighter. PR has limited #'s and the possibility/chances that we produce a champ that high is lower. Mexico definitely has had some unreal warriors. But so has PR without a doubt. Questioning PR's consistency and impact to the sport of boxing expecially in relation to its population is just silly!
