we'll make this the best of 5 with the lower original weight classes

147: Pipino Cuevas vs Manny Pacquiao
135: Julio Cesar Chavez vs Flash Elorde
126: Salvador Sanchez vs Luisito Espinosa
118: Ruben Olivares vs Nonito Donaire
112: Miguel Canto vs Pancho Villa

pacquiao could really fight in every weight class i guess. i like pac over cuevas and chavez but not vs olivares or canto. the sanchez fight is a pick 'em to me. funny how that works. picks?

Over Cuevas yes, but Chavez? seriously doubt it. Prime Chavez too much for Pacquaio.
But for this thread, the best Welterweight to represent Mexico. Jose Napoles( eventhough he's Cuban). A Mexican citizen none the less.

Dose that mean Chavez at 135 and Sanchez at 126 are not ATGs?

Pacquiao definetly loses those 2, and you can add the following L's as well...Morales (prime) at 122 and 126, and Canto at 112.

Pacquiao would beat Chavez, too much angle, speed and power.

    At 147, yes he would.
At 140, it's a pick'em for me. I'll probably say Chavez since he was more proven at that weight.
At 135 and 130, Chavez wins by late round stoppage.

Donaire to beat this beast? That's a big statement.
