I'll be legitimately shocked if Maidana blows out Lopez. Sure Maidana has good power, but Lopez has a heck of a chin and an even better heart. Plus, he is the much better boxer. I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing something...maybe Lopez had Taco Bell and is going to **** his pants in the ring, I don't know, but Lopez shouldn't be the underdog. He should be a pretty solid favorite.

lopez has less than a 50 percent ko ratio...at 140.

I think that youre putting way too much of him breaking ortizs jaw.

I'm just saying the kid can crack......he's not an Edwin Valero but he definitely will hurt anything from 140 to 147 if he lands. He puts a lot behind his shots and seems to be a very good puncher. MARCOS is definitely more heavy handed but Lopez has better leverage on hiz shots.

What I was missing was Maidana's ability to box really effectively. I didn't count on Maidana boxing as well as he did, he used that jab pretty effectively....Garcia has done a fantastic in really tuning up and tightening Maidana's boxing skills. That was the best Maidana's looked given who he was fighting as well. Big props to Maidana.

Maidana was injured in the 4th round from a punch to the r/hip & could not move very well or turn full force on his punches. That is why Lopez had some success in that round. Otherwise, Maidana would have ended it sooner! Lopez is a dirty fighter! You could see him intentionally using his head when they fought on the inside. I used to like Lopez until I watched this fight!:bbb

lopez coming off two consecutive ko losses and a brutal war against Ortiz.

josesito is a perfect fight for amir khan as his five minutes of fame are about up.
