I haven't seen much of him except his great win over Humberto Gonzalez and a few clips of other fights. I really like his stlye from what I have seen and was considering buying his career set. It would have about 30 of the pro fights (mostly title fights and fights on network tv im guessing). I normally get dvds of guys I know more about but there is little footage of him on the net (which is another reason why I wanna see him fight) and I wanna get some fights of the 'little guys'. In particular guys who saw him fight- what do you think about a Michael Carbajal career set?
To be honest, I dont remember much about him. I was a kid when he went to war with "La Chiquita" Gonzales. The win over Gonzales would definetly give me enough reason to want to see more from him. I would buy/support his carreer set for sure.
Carbajal and chiquita gonzalez brought a lot of attention to the lower weights. Carbajal was the known name but la chiquita stole the show and between them gave us some great fights and they were the first one to win a 1million dollar payday at that weight class. :hat
At the very least, you should get it to marvel at his magnificent hair. Serious cholo party in the back.
He was a good fighter. Great counter left hook. He liked to brawl more than he had to. I loved his win over Humberto Gonzales in the first fight they had. He was knocked down early and showed great heart and came back and stops Humberto. It was very exciting. He always came to fight. He was great.
