Worse fighters than Conlon have become World Champion so it's a possibility particularly with Top Rank behind him . It will be interesting to see how he copes when the opposition gets stiffer ? Personally I am not overly impressed with what I have seen so far.
Exactly. He achieved everything as an amateur and is unbeaten as a pro. He’s already far exceeded what most guys could ever wish for. Look at other domestic guys like selby, quigg and Warrington. The first two couldn’t fill a scout hall and josh didn’t look good on the way up at all. Looking good on the way up is not compulsory you know...

He'll probably get a shot at the WBO soon, winner of Navarrete vs De Vaca. He can win that, I don't particularly like the lad but he's a decent boxer and better than 99.9% of the boxers in his division, probably.

I’ve seen him a bunch of times and he wouldn’t be able to lay a glove on Stevenson. With the amount of alphabet belts going he might get one, but def not elite level as has has been stated on here. Conlan has got his rematch against amateur foe Nikitin on the Crawford undercard in December 14th. I don’t see what this does for his current career trajectory. Nikitin looks to have carried 0 power over to pro and has flattered to deceive in his 3 fights. Commey vs Teofimo Lopez should be a great fight too. Conlan sells loads of tickets for this fight aswel. A lot of Irish fans will want to see this loss avenged. Nice payday for each and Conlan can start looking at a world title shot maybe early 2021
