What's the latest on Gomez? Is he retiring now or is he still planning on fighting? One of my favourite domestic fighters but shame to see someone carry on when they are clearly past it. Prime Gomez would have stopped Khan no doubt.
Yeah, he is planning to continue fighting. It was posted here the other day I agree that a prime Gomez would have beaten Khan. Even though Gomez is a natural SFW. a prime Gomez could have easily put on 5lbs and KO'd Khan.
Mike was hoping to fight on an irish bill for an irish title at one point. Saw Mike last week, looked much better than I expected. By that I mean I half expected him to go on the beer and maccy d's with his khan paycheck, but mike looked good, trim with his usual "bounce".

No way, even with khans shakey chin, Gomez in his prime wouldn't of been able to beat khan let alone KO him IMO. I would still see the fight going the same way, maybe Gomez lasting an extra round or two.
prime gomez ko's khan no doubt,hes 1 of my fave fighters he can still be succesful at a reasonable domestic level.
He is ... Brophy is ok, quite fast hands and a decentish left hook but he's far too inactive during his fights to trouble Gomez. Gomez should stop him or win a one sided decision. Who you fighting mate? Carl Allen?
